Four Wheel Drive Victoria are advising of the following track closures and warnings in the Victorian High Country.

CLOSURE - Deddick Trail in far Eastern Victoria is closed due to major track damage and will not be repaired until well into the new year. As this is a popular area visitors are advised to take alternative routes in this area. This trail has been inspected by Four Wheel Drive Victoria and rangers and discussions are taking place for funding of repairs.

CLOSURE - Fisher Creek Rd in Dom Dom Saddle near Narbethong has been closed for repairs due to a massive hole that has formed at the bottom of a steep hill..The track has closure signs.

SAFETY WARNING - Barkly River Jeep Track near Mount Skene has a large and dangerous hole that should only be driven by very experienced drivers with highly modified and well equipped vehicles. Novice drivers and non modified cars should not attempt this track. The track has been sign posted warning of the danger. Repairs are not planned until sometime next year.

Heavy penalties apply to vehicles driving on closed roads or tracks.
