Four Wheel Drive Victoria have been informed that Forest Fire Management Victoria (FFMVic) would like to advise that Katie Peters Campground and The Cricket Pitch Campground near Eskdale will be closed from Monday 5th June until further notice while important flood recovery works are undertaken.
The works include site re-leveling, road repairs, revegetation and reseeding of the grass areas. Signage is in place and the site will reopen as soon as it’s safe.
Damage to the reserve was caused during floods in October 2022.
If you’re looking for other sites to visit in the area, The Mill Campground and Jack Swasbrick Campground remain open for visitors and campers.
